Glow-Up, Skin + Hair Medicinal Tea/Hair Rinse

Facial Toner 

Prepare a medicinal strength tea 

(1 tbsp Glow-Up tea:1/2 cup water) 

  

1. Boil tea on low for 15 mins 
2. Remove from heat and let cool 
3. To test, apply a swab on your forearm and let sit for 15 mins.   
   • If your arm turns red, dilute.  
   • If you don’t experience any reaction; 
4. Apply thin layer on skin with cotton ball.  
   • Optional: let sit on face for 15 mins 
5. Rinse. 

Store in fridge. Stays fresh for 3 days. 

 

Hair Rinse 

Prepare a medicinal strength tea 

4 tbsps Glow-Up tea

2 cups water 

  

1. Boil tea on low for 15 mins 
2. Remove from heat and let cool 
3. Just before you use your tea rinse, wash hair with shampoo and towel dry lightly – leaving it damp. 
4. Distribute the rinse throughout your hair and scalp with spray bottle.  
5. Cover your hair with a cap or old towel for around 30 minutes. 
6. Rinse hair with cold water. 
   • You don’t need to use shampoo afterwards, but feel free to use conditioner.

Nettle leaf is a rich source of vitamin A, B, C, K, calcium, silicon, potassium, iron, magnesium, manganese, boron, copper, chlorophyll, protein, and dietary fiber.  Nettle is an excellent blood purifier with detoxifying properties which helps to support vibrant skin, hair, nails, a healthy liver, healthy kidneys and respiratory system. 

 

Calendula is an anti-inflammatory known to heal damaged skin and hair and helps the body produce collagen.
