This high-protein snack is a delicious way to enjoy turmeric. You can use this as a dip with veggies or crackers or spread it on a sandwich or wrap. Try it with out Alkaline Spelt Bread recipe.
Ingredients
1½ pumpkin seeds, soak in water overnight
2 tbsp kelp flakes
2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp The Healing Junkie, Golden Milk blend (or 1 tbsp turmeric powder + ½ tsp ground black pepper)
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsps paprika powder
1 cup vegetable broth
¼ cup olive oil
Celtic sea salt, to taste
Instructions
Place soaked pumpkin seeds, kelp flakes, tamari, garlic, Golden Milk blend, cumin and paprika into a food processor.
While the motor is running, drizzle the broth and oil into the mixture and process until it is smooth and spreadable.
Refrigerate and eat within 3 days.
